Your Perfect Starting Point
Our home marina is located at Jachthaven De Batterij in Willemstad – a historic fortress town on the Hollandsch Diep, right on the threshold of Zeeland. From here you can reach not only the classic Delta sailing area, where fresh and salt water meet, but also the Biesbosch, the Brabant hinterland and city marinas such as Rotterdam and Dordrecht.
With the Linssen charter yachts Florina (Grand Sturdy 45.0 AC) and Blueberry (Variotop 500 AC) you set off in comfort into a cruising area that rewards beginners and experienced skippers alike: sheltered waters as well as open salt water with tides, mussels and wide horizons.

The traditional sailing area of the South Holland and Zeeland Delta lies practically right off the dock: open water, nature, salty air. At the same time, the region extends far beyond – into the unspoiled Biesbosch, along the rivers and canals of Brabant, and into the city harbours of Rotterdam and Dordrecht.
Many people think of Zeeland first as challenging tidal waters. Wrongly so: there are sheltered, calm stretches as well as wide, sporty passages across the Oosterschelde and Grevelingen. Dirk knows the area and helps with route planning – depending on weather, experience and time.
💡 Our Tip
Plan for about four to five hours of sailing per day. In Willemstad you start with a thorough briefing; for the salt water it's worth keeping an eye on the tides, wind and the Delta Works. Fresh oysters or lobster in Yerseke or Zierikzee are almost a must.
